THE Warriors have signed a handy reinforcement to ease their injury crisis in former Canberra Raider Jack Murchie.
A solidly-built 22-year-old from Bateman’s Bay, Murchie made his debut for the Raiders in 2018 and has played three NRL games for the club.
He also represented the Raiders in this year’s NRL Nines in Perth.
With the Warriors’ forward depth at crisis level following a series of injuries, Murchie has been signed to join the club immediately and is expected to be in the squad to meet the Dragons on Saturday week.
Forwards Leeson Ah Mau (pectoral), Jazz Tevaga, Bunty Afoa and Jackson Frei (all knees) have long-term injuries and only Tevaga is a chance to play again this season.
